Our Technique
VaClay
VACLAY, a portmanteau of "Vacuum" and "Clay," literally meaning "vacuum clay," is a shaping technique that uses air as a tool. By enclosing material particles and adjusting the internal and external air pressure difference, the material's volume and hardness can be reversibly controlled, allowing for free sculpting much like clay.
As an incredibly flexible sculpting material, it can be molded while in a softened state, and then vacuum-sealed to set its shape at any point, allowing for free molding, sculpting, and customization.
